Five minutes up the road. Victorian and Edwardian family houses with good bones, generous ceiling heights and, very often, a downstairs that was planned for a different century.

South into West Sussex — period cottages, farmhouses and estate properties on the edge of the South Downs, where the design has to respect what is already there.

Antique country in every sense. Houses where sourcing a genuinely old piece is part of the brief, not an afterthought.
